Descrizione

Monika Cooperation Project is a project that inclueds the cooperation of Prirodoslovna škola Karlovac, Pitomača HIghschool, and Požega highschool in constructing of a hydroponic greenhouse on the premises of Prirodoslvna škola Karlovac. The project has been cofinanced by the EU. The aim of the project is to create the hydroponic greenhouse and educate students on how it works, but also to find teachers who would give lectures on hydroponics. The school also hopes to attract more students who would love to attend it and learn about what it has to offer.

This is a reletively small project, but even so it is a step forward for the three school. The project is not yet finished, nor is it a part of an any bigger project. Although, if the project proves itself as a success, more projects may be started and the cooperation between schools may increase.

Avanzamento

To gather information on the project we have conducted interviews with one of the professors of our school and the principle. The professor in question, Diana Jurčević, has given us the most information about the project. She told us why the project was started, when it was started, and about the problems it faces. The principle, Nenad Klasan, gave us information about the finances of the project.

Risultati

It hasn't produced any results yet

The project is progressing very slowly. The deadline for completion has already passed, and project is only half done.

Punti di debolezza

Whilst we were doing research on the project, we discovered that the participants of the project are not really cooperative, and don`t do their part. There is also problems with the organization of the porject, the materials necessary are not purchesed on time and all the important information is not shared on time.

Punti di forza

We like that this project took place in our school because it will allow for a better education of students in the field of hydfroponics, and it allowed us to connect and cooperate with students of different schools. We also find that its a step forward in modernizing our school.

Rischi

As it was already pointed out, the project hasn`t yet been finished. If it remains unfinished, financing it may become a waste of money. It is also a possibility that a teacher who would lecture students on hydroponics will not be found, or that the students won`t be interested in learning about the subject.

Soluzioni e Idee

We think it would be the best for the participants to better organize themselves, or that a new team of participant be assembled, so that all the information is available to all the participants. If the problem is in the construction comapy, then it too should be replaced. The consruction material should be bought on time, and the leader of the project should make sure everyone does their part.

L'INDAGINE

Come sono state raccolte le informazioni?

  • Visit to the project's location, documented by pictures or videos

  • Interview with other types of people
  • Interview with people responsible for the project's implementation

We interviewed Diana Jurčević, professor of herbalism at Prirodoslvna škola Karlovac, and the principle of our school, Nenad Klasan. After that we visited the location were the Hydroponic greenhouse is being constructed. The principle gave us some financial information on the project and told us who started it. Professor Jurčević told us a little about who will use the greenhouse and what sort of plants will be grown in it. Becouse she is the professor of herbalism she will most likely take part in some lectures of hydroponics.
